How do I flip an image horizontally?

What is the difference between flip and rotate?

Flip mirrors left to right or top to bottom. Rotate turns the photo by an angle. This page stays the flip landing. Open Rotate Image for 90° steps and custom angles. Both tools share the same engine.

Can I flip both ways at once?

Yes. Choose Both, or turn on Horizontal and Vertical together. Mirroring both axes matches a 180° turn. Reset clears the mirrors.

Does a horizontal flip fix a mirrored selfie?

A left to right flip is the usual selfie mirror. Check the preview before you download. There is no cloud face finder.

Can I flip a batch?

Yes. Add several photos and download every included file as a ZIP. The same mirror applies to each one.

Is a flip lossless?

No. The download is a new image file. The pixels are resampled. It is not a byte-for-byte copy. JPG, PNG, and WebP can still carry location tags.

Do my photos get uploaded?

No. Flip runs in your browser. Your photo is not sent to a NixRey server. The page may load normal app/runtime code like any website. That is app/runtime code, not an upload of your image.

What happens with HEIC?

JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, GIF, and AVIF are accepted. GIF uses the first frame. If HEIC will not open, convert with HEIC to JPG first.
