    Strip all EXIF

    Export format is Original, JPEG, PNG, or WebP. Original keeps the source container when the strip allows. HEIC cannot stay HEIC. For HEIC, Original exports a JPEG. Then press Strip all EXIF.

Do I upload my photo to strip EXIF?

No. The strip runs in your browser. Your files are not sent to a NixRey server. This tool does not download a model.

What can EXIF reveal?

Before you strip, the warning at the top of Preview lists GPS, device, timestamps, and software when those tags exist. You can search the tag list for a name or a value.

Which export format should I pick?

Original keeps the source container when the strip allows. JPEG, PNG, and WebP re-encode after the strip. HEIC cannot stay HEIC in the browser. For HEIC, Original exports a JPEG.

Will JPEG quality change?

Upright JPEGs use metadata-only binary surgery. There is no quality loss on that path. If Keep orientation upright is on and the file has a rotation tag, the photo is re-encoded once at high quality. PNG and WebP re-encode after the strip.

Can I strip a batch?

Yes. Add several JPG, PNG, WebP, or HEIC photos, or paste on an empty queue. Use Strip all EXIF, or Strip remaining when some files are already clean. Download this image, or Download All as a ZIP. Device memory sets the practical limit.

How do I know it worked?

Drop the downloaded file again. CLEAN means no EXIF was detected on that open file.
