Is the PNG lossless?

This page writes PNG from one decode and skips a JPEG step. It is not a lossless copy of the iPhone original. Chosen quality stays on HEIC to JPG.

What about EXIF and GPS?

The PNG is a fresh encode. Camera EXIF and GPS are not copied. Use Remove EXIF when you want a deliberate strip.

Can I convert several at once?

Yes. Checked files export together as heic-to-png.zip. Start near 20 files and about 25 MB each.

What about HEIF?

HEIF is accepted with HEIC. Other formats are skipped with a clear message.
