How do I extract pages into a new PDF?
Open the PDF, select the pages or type a range, then extract. You get one new PDF. The original file stays intact.
How is Split PDF different from Remove PDF Pages?
Split PDF copies the pages you select into a new file. Remove PDF Pages deletes the pages you mark and keeps the rest. Use Remove PDF Pages at /remove-pdf-pages when the job is to drop pages.
Can I type a page range?
Yes. Type a range such as 1-5 or 1-2, 4. The page strip follows that range. Click a page to change the selection.
How do I keep a single page?
Select that one page, or type its number, then extract. The new PDF has only that page.
What happens with 3000 or more pages?
Jobs with 3000 or more pages skip the thumbnail strip. Type a range to extract. A single-page preview stays available while you choose.
Does my PDF get uploaded?
No. Extract runs in your browser. Your PDF is not uploaded to a NixRey server.
What if the PDF has a password?
This tool cannot process a password-protected PDF. Unlock it on PDF Password, then come back with the unlocked file.
