Frequently Asked Questions
Mark pages to delete and keep the rest. This is a different job from Split.
Is this the same as Split?
No. Split extracts selected pages into a new PDF on /split-pdf. Remove deletes marked pages and keeps the rest in one thinned file.
Can I undo before download?
Yes. Clear marks or Start over before you download. After download, re-open the original if you still have it.
What about blank pages?
Yes. Mark blank pages in the thumbnail grid, then remove them. This tool does not find blank pages for you.
What if my PDF is encrypted?
This tool cannot process a password-protected PDF here. Unlock it first on /pdf-password, then come back with the unlocked file.
Do bookmarks or links survive?
Bookmarks and links on kept pages usually stay. A link that pointed at a removed page can break. Check the trimmed file before you share it.
How do I verify privacy?
Remove runs in your browser. Your PDF is not uploaded to a NixRey server. The page may load app and worker code like any website. That is not your PDF upload.
Does remove shrink the file much?
Removing pages drops those pages from the file. It does not shrink images on the pages you keep. Open Compress at /compress-pdf when you want a smaller file.
