Frequently Asked Questions
Text stays as text. A signature here is a visual mark, not a certificate.
How do I edit a PDF in the browser?
Upload a PDF, choose Edit, click a paragraph or image, then click Save. Annotate, Forms, Organize, and Sign are separate modes. Nothing is sent to a server.
Does this change the original text in my PDF?
Yes. Clicking existing text covers the original run and places a wrap box. Isolated same-line tweaks rewrite only when they cannot change columns or fonts. This is not Word. Images can be moved, resized, replaced, or deleted. Save substitutes a font when the original font cannot cover the new characters.
Can I fill forms and sign?
Forms fills fields that are already in the PDF. Add fields from the Forms bar. Cover and whiteout hide what is under them. Use Redact PDF to remove text. Sign places a visual signature image. It is not a cryptographic digital signature. Signature boxes often do not show in Chrome, Edge, or Firefox.
Is my file private?
Yes. The PDF loads only in your tab. Saving runs locally in your browser.
How do I find and replace text?
Click Find. Type the words to search. The current match is highlighted like a browser find. Use Next and Previous to move. Replace is available in Edit on a large screen.
How do I add a web link?
Open Edit, click Add link, then click the page to place a box. Type the web address. The box becomes a clickable link in the saved PDF.
