What is X% of Y?
Result = (X ÷ 100) × Y. 25% of 200 is 50.
X is what % of Y?
Result = (X ÷ Y) × 100. 50 is 25% of 200.
How is % change calculated?
% change uses the initial value as the base. ((Y − X) ÷ X) × 100. % change is not the same as % difference.
