Do platforms count spaces?
Most platforms count spaces. Characters includes every character. Without Spaces skips whitespace. Use Characters for Twitter/X, SMS, a meta description, a title tag, or Instagram.
What do the platform presets do?
A preset sets a limit and a progress bar. Twitter/X is 280. SMS is 160. Meta Description is 155. Title Tag is 60. Instagram is 2200. The bar turns yellow, then red, as you near the limit.
Is this the same as Word Counter?
